ACTIVE FOOD PRODUCER

Your hard work cultivates for your community.

These SDCH members help their neighbors through their hard work: weeding, harvesting, and maintaining their own Micro-Farms while continuing to donate the extra produce they’ve grown. â€‹ Many Active Food Producers already grow their own food and opt-in to our program by donating 50% of their home-grown food . The food you donate will be recorded and documented using in-kind donation receipts, enabling tax deductions for your donated extra food.

A subsidized one time installation fee is all you need to pay, and then the weeding and harvesting can begin.

A small monthly fee of $75 allows you to be a part of our philanthropic network of growers, this includes: monthly newsletters, Compost education, in-kind donation receipts
